- Does the “Big Beautiful Bill” Actually Help the Average Person?
You might have heard about this ‘big beautiful bill’ that recently got passed by one vote in the house and is now with the senate.
Depending on your favorite news network or whoever’s yelling loudest on social media, this “Big Beautiful Bill” is either the greatest, most beautiful piece of legislation ever written… or some call it “disgusting abomination”. Now I’m not going to “Tesla” you who said that, but let’s just say – it’s definitely an electrifying description of the bill.
Just how big is this “Big Beautiful Bill”?
Brace yourself – this thing is 1,116 pages long.
Yes, over a thousand pages of dense, political spaghetti.
And get this: some lawmakers actually voted for it without reading it.
Seriously – they admitted it was too long and didn’t have time. TL;DR meets real-life legislation.
I know what you’re thinking:
How can a lawmaker vote on something they haven’t read?
But hey – I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. Reading over 1,000 pages is no small feat.
That’s exactly why I created this blog (and the YouTube video). Who knows? Maybe it’ll help them out too.
Did I Read All 1,116 Pages Myself?
Absolutely not. I’m not trying to age 10 years in one week.
But let’s get to the real question we’re all wondering:
Does this bill actually help the average person?
Let’s be real:
Most of us regular folks don’t have the time – or the mental stamina – to dig through 1,000+ pages of legal jargon just to figure out what’s actually going on.
And honestly, I don’t want to rely on some talking – head “expert” with an obvious agenda to break it down for me.
So who can we trust to give it to us straight?
Enter Our Unbiased Expert: ChatGPT
Yep, our trusty, non-human co-host.
But wait… is ChatGPT really unbiased?
Fair question. So I asked it directly:
“Do you have any political bias or party affiliation?”
“Do you lean more toward Republicans, Democrats, or neither?”
Short answer:
No political affiliation. Built to be neutral and informative.

The Big Beautiful Bill: ChatGPT’s Take
To get to the bottom of this Big Beautiful Bill, I asked three simple – but important – questions:
What is the “Big Beautiful Bill”?
In plain English. No jargon. No spin.Who benefits the most?
Is it lower-income folks, the middle class, the wealthy, or the ultra-rich?If you were a congressperson who truly cared about everyday Americans, would you vote for it?
(Yep, I asked ChatGPT to imagine it was in Congress – because why not?)
So… What did ChatGPT say?

Question 1: What is the “Big Beautiful Bill”?
It’s a massive Republican-backed bill supported by President Trump. Think of it like a mega shopping cart packed with laws – covering taxes, healthcare, immigration, and even AI regulation.
✅ Tax Cuts Stay: 2017 tax cuts become permanent.
❌ Cuts to Government Help: Tougher rules for Medicaid and SNAP.
🚔 More Border Enforcement: More ICE officers, more wall, faster deportations.
🤖 AI Regulation Freeze: States can’t pass AI laws for 10 years.
💸 More Military $$$ + Debt Hike: Big boost in military spending and borrowing.
Question 2: Who benefits the most?
🏦Ultra-rich and Upper Class – ✅ Big winners
The bill extends the 2017 Trump tax cuts permanently, which gave the largest dollar-value tax reductions to high-income households.
Estate tax relief and pass-through business deductions also favor wealthy individuals and business owners.
Some corporate tax changes reduce taxes on large companies, which mostly benefit wealthy shareholders.
👨👩👧 Middle Class – 🟡 Mixed impact
Many middle-income families would continue to benefit from the standard deduction and child tax credit extensions.
But they don’t gain as much as the wealthy in percentage terms, and rising deficits could lead to future cuts in services or higher taxes down the line.
👥 Lower-Income Individuals – ❌ Likely losers
They would see reduced access to Medicaid and food assistance (SNAP) due to stricter eligibility and work requirements.
Health insurance subsidies under the Affordable Care Act would be harder to get.
Many would see little to no tax relief, since they already pay little in federal income tax, but rely more on government services.
Question 3: Would ChatGPT vote for it?
According to ChatGPT:
If it were a congressperson focused on everyday Americans – especially working and low-income families – it wouldn’t vote for this bill.
What's the Verdict?
There you have it! Now you know what’s inside the Big Beautiful Bill – courtesy of my very neutral, very digital co-host: ChatGPT.
So… is it actually beautiful? Or just a hot mess wrapped in shiny packaging?
That’s for you to decide.
Some folks have even faced backlash for speaking out about it.
But hey – I’m just an average person sharing what ChatGPT had to say.
So if anyone’s got an issue with this…
👉 Take it up with Sam Altman, CEO of ChatGPT.
